About Mary...
An accredited mediator since 2008, Mary has had varied and unusual careers which have given her experience which can be particularly valuable in mediations. She has been a fashion model, a dancer and as a trade union activist while a teacher and lecturer in Law she had extensive experience of dispute resolution in the workplace.

At the Bar her practice has encompassed general Chancery work, education, employment. She lectures and trains expert witnesses in report writing and courtroom presentation. Mary has been active as a trained co-counsellor for over twenty years.

The combination of her experience of life, of dealing with disputes arising from all sorts of situations and her conspicuously friendly approach make her a particularly ideal choice for mediations in areas such as, education, workplaces, neighbour disputes, acrimonious domestic quarrels and commercial disputes.

Mature Mediator, outstanding listener, who hears what each wants, and is robust in bringing the parties to where they decide they best want to be in their dispute. An Academic and Trade Union activist prior to practice as Barrister in general Chancery and Administrative areas, I am no stranger to managing highly charged emotional disputes.
